- She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture at the University of Santo Tomas Manila, where she was awarded “Most Outstanding Theses of the Year”, and exhibited at the Manila Hotel “Cities of the Future 2000”.
- After a graduate course in management at the University of the Philippines, she went on to pass the Architectural Licensure Exam in June 2001.
- She proceeded to work at Recio+Casas Architects in Makati as Project Architect for 3 years. Her exposure to various project types of interior design detailing to large-scale planning honed her design and technical skills. Projects such as Green Belt in Makati, The Bellagio, a high-end condominium complex in Fort Bonifacio, Sports Hall and Education Center at the University of Santo Tomas, to name a few.
- Her involvement in large-scale planning stirred an interest in urban development and decided to pursue Master of Arts in Urban Design at The National University of Singapore. Her final studio project received commendation from the jury and was exhibited at the University’s Architecture and Urban Design Gallery.
- She went on to work at SAA Architects Pte Ltd in Singapore as Design Architect and had the great opportunity to work with Miyake Masaki, chief architect of the world-renowned Kenzo Tange. Her close collaboration with the Japanese architect on high-end projects expounded her insights on design’s sense and sensibilities. She was also in-charge of numerous urban design projects in Shanghai, Kunming, Qingdao, Yangzhou, China.
- She became Senior Architect Associate at one of Singapore’s top architectural firms, Surbana International Consultants Pte Ltd. Together with a multi-national design team, she worked on a prestigious pilot project of the office of the Prime Minister of Singapore - “The New Generation Public Housing”, and presented this project to the visiting MIT (USA) students and professors. Just before she left, she tendered a 3-30-sty high residential building and a 10-sty serviced apartment in Singapore.
- In 2011, she became a Mumpreneur juggling being a mom to her 2 young daughters, running her own distribution company and as an Urban Design Consultant. She was recently awarded “Mumpreneur of the Year in Socially Responsible Category by Senior State Minister of Singapore, Ms Josephine Teo.
- To date, she is busy doing urban design projects from some of the biggest developers in Davao City, like Northtown Mixed-Use Development, Urban Planning & Design of The Apo View Hotel, Nova Tierra Mixed-Use Development, to name a few. She pursued “Mastering Design Thinking” at MIT, USA and just completed her Professional Certificate in Innovation and Technology at MIT last July 2019.
